Caravan, King’s Cross

On Saturday, I had a lovely girly day in London with a friend. We are both mega avocado and egg fans, so we went to have some amazing brunch.

My friend found Caravan, a brunch hotspot close to King’s Cross station. Now, this place is for COOL people, from the waitress boppng round with knee high socks on with her denim shorts, to the hot guy two tables along – black, geeky, thick glasses and with a chunky jumper with robins on it (just my type).

We both went for the obvious – avocado on toast with a poached egg. It was heaven. They didn’t spare on the avocado, and it wasn’t gloopy cheap stuff either. Second choice would have been the coconut bread with the lemon curd cream cheese and rhubarb.

The place was really packed, though, and I recommend either booking or going early if you can. If you want to sit at the bar to wait for a table, the cute staff there are very friendly.

You can fin Caravan at:
