Lazy Sunday Links

For the first time in two years, I booked myself a holiday this week. At the end of the month, my sister and I will be going to Gdansk! I’ve wanted to go for the longest time, it’s Poland’s Brighton, it seems – a hipster seaside town! If anyone wants to throw recommendations my way, please feel free!

Half of the blogs I follow, I do so through Bloglovin. However, I’m seeing a lot of conversations in blogger circles about how they’re trying to short change us. They have a new feature where you can publish posts directly from their platform, which would make our own blogs moot. I personally see a lot of people clicking and reading my posts from Bloglovin, but can’t really see those clicks in my own stats page. It would be a massive faff, but I am considering removing my blog from Bloglovin and following everyone (and encouraging everyone to use) Feedly instead.

Let’s Linkie!

Need some new things to read? I have no idea how Amanda runs an amazeballs blog, has a cool career, bakes AND reads so many books, but here are the things she’s read recently…

I love knowing what people do for a living, and how they got there. It’s so fascinating. One of my favourite blogs to read is from Fran, who is a medical student in America. She’s written a beautiful post about how she came to be where she is today, and I really recommend reading it!

Jumpers and pins – why didn’t I think of this?! I’m going on a pin buying spree on Etsy!

The website Wit and Delight is massively on point right now. They’re doing this series of posts about how to cope better and achieve more at work. Every post they have put up recently, I have really (and I mean really) appreciated. Here’s one on how to cope when you’ve messed up at work (boy, have I been there…)

If you’re needing a little more encouragement, kind words, and inspiration, this Tumblr has all of that and more. There are so many amazing spots on the internet right now.

Want to travel the world for free? Hand Luggage Only have an actually pretty decent list of ways you can travel without spending a lot!

As you can see, I’m trying to get better at having my photo taken. I really want to start thinking more about the outfits I create. My idol is Nicole, of course, and I really want to get to the stage where I can look as care-free in my photos as her.

Have a lovely Sunday!
