Browns, Cambridge

A week or so ago, my blogger besties and I were invited* to Browns in Cambridge to try their menu and see their gorgeous restyling – and it was an amazing event!

As we arrived, we were asked to go to the “cocktail station” (easily my favourite kind of station) to try out their range of drinks. I went for the rhubarb and cucumber collins, which was delicious – light and bubbly and very more-ish. [Read more…]

D’arry’s Cambridge

I found D’arry’s completely by accident. I run a Japanese language exchange on Sundays and I was in search of a new, quiet location. I tried The Brewhouse but I wasn’t impressed by the standoffish staff, so I wandered over the road to D’arry’s and found a wonderful quiet, cosy loft. I now go there weekly.

Downstairs is the main restaurant, with a private room as well (that looks SO pretty! I want my birthday party there this year!) but go up a spiral staircase and you find the very cosy upstairs – with fireplaces, snuggly throws and a lovely soft playlist. [Read more…]

Bibimbap House, Cambridge

I love me some Korean food. As long as it’s not toooooo spicy, then I am in heaven every time. Cambridge sadly doesn’t have any good Japanese restaurants (I’m looking at you, Yo Sushi) but it does have a couple of Korean offerings.
