D’arry’s Cambridge

I found D’arry’s completely by accident. I run a Japanese language exchange on Sundays and I was in search of a new, quiet location. I tried The Brewhouse but I wasn’t impressed by the standoffish staff, so I wandered over the road to D’arry’s and found a wonderful quiet, cosy loft. I now go there weekly.

Downstairs is the main restaurant, with a private room as well (that looks SO pretty! I want my birthday party there this year!) but go up a spiral staircase and you find the very cosy upstairs – with fireplaces, snuggly throws and a lovely soft playlist. [Read more…]

Bibimbap House, Cambridge

I love me some Korean food. As long as it’s not toooooo spicy, then I am in heaven every time. Cambridge sadly doesn’t have any good Japanese restaurants (I’m looking at you, Yo Sushi) but it does have a couple of Korean offerings.

Since I started my comedy night in Cambridge, my social circle has grown so much and I’ve made so many more amazing friends. One of whom is a German guy called Raphael, who told me recently that he runs a pop-up Korean streetfood company called Go Go Gogi Gui with his sister!

Brunch at Little Acre Kitchen St Ives

Two things I love are bloggers and brunch. So, when I was invited to a blogger brunch meetup, I was SO very happy! We met up at Little Acre Kitchen in nearby St Ives – a gorgeous little brunch spot!

I met up with my buddy Sian at Style with Friends, and then had the pleasure of meeting for the first time Sophie Kate [blog of the same name] and Jennifer from Feioi Interrior Design. It’s so nice to meet up with people who share this weird little hobby I have called blogging!! [Read more…]
