Your Weekend Sorted Dec 1st

Dough Cambridge

Here’s what’s cool to do this weekend – extra cool with the ridic cold weather!

There’s a new kid on Cambridge market and it comes in the form of cookie dough. DOUGH have been there only a few weeks, but their cookie dough is deliciously sweet – one tub was enough to share between two. The dough is egg free and comes in loads of really great flavours.

They’re on the market on Thursdays and Saturdays and sell out quickly, so don’t miss out!

I went to the Geldart pub in Cambridge for the first time this week, and it was lovely! We went for a gypsy jazz event, and had some lovely craft beer at the same time. They’ve got loads of great events on there, so do check them out!

She’s Gotta Have It is what I’m watching on Netflix right now. I’ve only just started, but already it’s hot, funny and hella woke. Has lots of sex scenes so listen with earphones if you’re in a houseshare!

My newest find is When Life Gives You Melons, a frank podcast about being a woman. The conversations aren’t quite as slick as they are in other bigger podcasts, but I like it. Get it where you get your podcasts from.

If you want to support local businesses, this weekend is the time to do it. The Etsy Made Local Christmas Fair is on tomorrow in St Andrew’s Church, then you’ve got Mill Road Winter Fair which is also looking to be a great event!

Here are some links for you for the weekend:

We’re our own worst critics in things – and I’m sure you’ll agree that Lizzie looks gorgeous!

Getting involved in politics is so important. I’ll have more news on how I’m doing this at a later point!
