Your Weekend Sorted

The Mill Cambridge

Instead of working your way through the Christmas movies on Netflix, here’s what you could be doing this weekend…

Animal Crossing App

If you ARE going to watch crappy things on Netflix, at least keep your thumbs busy. I’ve been really enjoying the Animal Crossing Pocket Camp app. It’s not as exciting as the actual game on handheld Nintendo consoles, but it’s a great way to pass some time. You set up a nice little tent area, collect things, and give things to the animals who live there.

I miss having the space to really decorate the tent as I did with Animal Crossing New Leaf, but it’s still fun. If you’re playing too, let me know your friend code!

I had the hot chocolate Jack’s Gelato last week and it was AMAZING! There are a couple of different flavours to choose from, and we had the orange one. The best hot chocolate in Cambridge?? I think so.

On Sunday Thirsty have an amazing food market. The list of sellers there looks so exciting! Great for last minute Christmas shopping?

It’s not at the weekend but Charlie’s Pizza is having a Home Alone and pizza night and I know I want to be there. All the deets can be found here.

I loved this post from Alice about selfies. I am a selfie fan myself, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them at all.

Not really feeling Christmas yet? Feel more Grinch than Elf? Here are some tips on how to improve your mood this Christmas.

Is blogging dying? It’s certainly changing, that’s for sure. Jasmin Charlotte has some fab predictions.

I’ve not been a freelancer, but I can understand the pain of Bev. I think her solution is a really lovely idea!

Have a great weekend!

  1. Good links on this one!

I can totally relate to the freelancer dilemma; I did that for all of 2017 and I missed having office-mates very much. Also, having to file my own taxes and deal with my health insurance independently of employment is a HUGE pain in the butt.

  2. I love these type of posts especially if it’s done by bloggers whose writings I read regularly as I usually find similar interests hence I get to know more about the stuff I am interested about and widen my knowledge. I downloaded Animal Crossing app but don’t know how turn off the sound.. Btw, do you Play Station? If yes, check out Stardew Valley.

Oh! I thought these posts really bombed so I stopped doing them…maybe I should bring them back once in a while. I don’t have a PlayStation but that game sounds like fun!
